Mr Douk, Siem Reap

Mr Douk is a victim of the land mines that litter the Cambodian landscape. He sells postcards and books to make his way in the world. I offered him some money, but he wouldn't take it, preferring me to buy some postcards instead. Despite his horrific injuries, he is quick to smile, and happy to chat with me. He offers his stump for me to shake. He smiles hugely and wishes me luck.
